Solyd · Account deletion
Delete your Solyd account.
Solyd is made by Aayushnitya. You can delete your account and everything synced to it from inside the app, or from this page if you have already uninstalled it. Either way it is immediate and cannot be undone.
How to delete it
Two ways, both immediate.
1. In the app, if you still have it
Open Solyd and go to Profile, scroll to Delete account, and confirm. You do not need to contact anyone and there is nothing to wait for. On iPhone, if you signed in with Apple, you are asked to confirm with Apple once more so the Sign in with Apple link is disconnected at the same time.
2. From here, if you have uninstalled
Enter the email address you signed in with, below. We send a one-time confirmation link to that address, and it has to be opened in the same browser you asked from. Opening it brings you back here, and one more tap deletes the account. Nothing happens until you open that link, so nobody can delete your account by typing your address.
Request it here
Confirm by email.
What happens to your data
Deleted, kept, and not ours to delete.
Deleted immediately
- Your account itself. The sign-in identity is removed. There is no grace period and no recovery.
- Everything synced to it. Every workout, routine and setting held in the cloud is deleted with the account, not marked for later.
- Anything the other Aayushnitya apps hold for that address. One Aayushnitya account signs you in to every app we make, so it does not belong to Solyd alone. Today the other one is Mira, the journal: its entries, moods, goals, tags, scales, reminders and settings are removed with the account too. Deleting the account is all of it at once and cannot be limited to one app.
- Everything on the device you delete from. The whole local store, including progress photos and your profile picture, which were only ever on that phone.
Kept, and why
- Body weight and workouts in Apple Health or Health Connect. If you turned that on, Solyd wrote those records into your health app. They belong to you there and are not ours to remove, so deleting your Solyd account does not touch them. Delete them in the Health app (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android). Solyd cannot remove weight entries even one at a time, because it never kept a handle on them.
- Search terms that identify nobody. When a search of the exercise library finds nothing, the words you typed are kept so the movement can be added. The stored record carries no account id, so there is nothing in it to point back at you. Deleting your account clears any that ever did.
- The exercise library itself. The catalogue of movements is the same for everyone and contains none of your data.
Delete all data is a different thing
The app also has Delete all data, which is not the same as deleting your account. It empties your training from the device and clears your synced content, but the account itself survives and you can sign back into it. Your workouts and routines are marked deleted in the cloud rather than removed, and we keep those marked rows: they stop syncing to any device and never come back, but they are not erased from our database until the account itself is deleted. If you want everything gone, delete the account.
How long it takes
Deleting the account is immediate: there is no queue, no grace period and no retention window afterwards. If you would rather write to a person than use this page, email contact.aayushnitya@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we will action it, in any case within 30 days.
